"Micro", meaning small and "festival", meaning an event centering around a unique aspect of the community. In this case, independent film. Avalon Studios' touring film festivals screen throughout the year at venues from California to New York. Approximately ten percent of all money raised goes to charity. If interested in making a donation and having your name or your company's name advertised in program guides and screened credits, contact Avalon's founder, Jeff Crispi.

This year's tour includes a new group of accomplished filmmakers including Kari Nevil of JuneBug Films, who's worked with Touchstone Pictures and Universal Studios, Steffan Schulz of Strange Media, voted to A/V Video Multi-Media Magazine's "Top 100 Producers", and those celluloid wizards, The Dandy Dwarves. Also, the 2008 AMFF Tour plays multi-genre cutting music from musicians local and abroad.

In addition to L. I. Cares, The Harry Chapin Food Bank, The Veterans' Families United Foundation, and The SOLD Project, Avalon Studios is working to acquire other integral social charities as part of the AMFF team. "Paying it forward" is another of the Studios' highly regarded values. If you know of a charity or cause that might lend itself to such a venture, please contact us.
